The Fido Awards take place in London, every March. As the rest of the film industry is celebrating industry giants in the Chinese Theatre in their designers gowns, Fido’s is celebrating the film’s best friends - the dog actors!

Meet the Team
Toby Rose
Founder
Toby Rose worked as a cinema journalist for over two decades - after a stint working in PR for Queen and Jonathan Ross - writing for publications including The Observer, The Times, Time Out and the London Evening Standard. In 2001 he founded the world's first prize for canine excellence on the big screen, the Palm Dog awarded each year at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2007 came the creation of little sister The Fido Awards – the Dog Oscars.
Meg Elys
Meg Elys has been working in entertainment since 14 years of age. She founded and runs 'GoodBadMad'; a platform & podcast built to support creative careers.
She's joining the Fido team as of Summer 2023.
